~Veeam on board~
So here I go… I’m off to United States of America, New Orleans, Louisiana. I’m travelling to attend the World’s Premier Availability Event, VeeamOn 2017 Conference.
VeeamON is the world’s largest event entirely focused on Availability and data protection. More than 3,000 peers will attend the event, thought leaders, subject matter experts and IT professionals to discuss the latest in data center modernization using virtualization, storage and cloud technologies.
I’ll be quiet in the next week. I’ll be very busy, both during the day as well as at night with all my fellow Microsoft MVPs, Veeam Vanguards to meet ups and networking opportunities that are planned.
I am looking forward to join Microsoft at the booth #103, and attend the following sessions and key activities:
- Jeff Woolsey will deliver the “Reinventing IT Infrastructure for Business Agility” session on Wednesday, May 17th from 11:15am to 12:15pm. In this session, Jeff will explore how Microsoft is helping customers and professionals with their cloud strategy and how Windows Server, System Center, Azure, and Operations Management Suite play a big role in this.
- Ben Armstrong, Mr. Hyper-V will deliver the “Moving your Private Cloud forward with Windows Server and Azure” session on Thursday, May 18th from 2:50pm to 3:50pm. Ben will build from the previous session and show how IT Pros can save the day by modernizing their environment to support users and developers.
- Mark Russinovich, CTO of Microsoft Azure will be joining the main stage on Thursday to talk about how companies can bridge the gap between today’s on-premises environments and cloud.
- On Wednesday, May 17th from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, we will join Microsoft for a party at the Fulton Alley where attendees will have the opportunity to relax and connect with the Microsoft experts attending the conference.
For me, this is the first time I am attending VeeamOn event… This is definitely going to be the best VeeamON conference yet.
To all my fellow MVPs, Veeam Vanguards, nerd friends, and colleagues in route to the Conference… looking forward to seeing you there!
Have a safe trip everyone…
