My Session on Azure Site Recovery and Microsoft Azure Backup at the #Azure #ITCamp #ASR #HyperV

1 Min. Read

Today I was speaking at the second Azure ITCamp, a big IT community event focusing on the Microsoft CloudOS Platform, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With national and international speakers, and over 400 attendees it was a great event!

I presented a session on Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for protection and migration from on-premises to Azure. In this demo heavy session, I presented about Microsoft Azure Backup including ASR failover and the comparison between Hyper-V, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, VMware/Physical Machines migration as well as monitoring Azure Site Recovery with Microsoft Operations Management Suite (awesome technologies).

I had a full house during the session, great turn up, good questions as well as great, more in depth, discussions afterwards. I had a fun time presenting there. Many thanks to the Microsoft Gulf team and fellow MVPs.

Until next time…

Enjoy your day!
