My Session
I will be presenting a session called “Protect On-Premises workloads using DPM and Azure Backup Server”.
With the introduction of the new European law, known as General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR), a new era for data protection will force many organizations to identify and catalog personal data in systems, to build more secure environments, and simplify management of GDPR compliance. Existing functionality in Microsoft Azure cloud services such as Azure Backup can pave the way for you and serve as enablers for your GDPR compliance. With increasing amounts of data in this all-connected world comes more data that needs to be protected. Azure Backup is a simple, secure, and reliable cloud-integrated backup service offering to back up and restore your data whether they are on-premises or in the cloud. In this session, you will learn about how to integrate Data Protection Manager (DPM), and Microsoft Azure Backup Server (MABS) within your Datacenter to protect your workloads and become a GPDR hero.
