- Enhanced VM Interaction (Enhanced session Mode using Remote Desktop over VMBus).
- Online Virtual Hard Disk Resize (Dynamically Grow or Shrink SCSI VHDX on the fly).

- Deduplication with Running Virtual Machines for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
- Live Cloning (Live Export) of a running Virtual Machine.
- Protecting Virtual Machines from Network Outages (Detects network failures).
- Virtual RSS (vRSS), Virtual Receive Side Scaling that allows the load from virtual network adapter to be distributed across multiple virtual processors in virtual machines, more info here.
- Zero-downtime upgrade from Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V including Shared Nothing Live Migration.
- Faster Live Migration comparison between (TCP/IP VS Compression VS SMB MultiChannel/Direct).
- Hyper-V Replica and Extended Replication to a third location in the box and now you can replicate to Microsoft Azure with Azure Site Recovery service, more info here.
